Golden Chick is currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our kitchen staff as a Back of House (BOH) team member. This role is crucial in ensuring that food preparation meets or exceeds the company’s hospitality and service standards and that all meals are prepared on time and in the correct quantities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing food items according to established recipes and specifications, operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace. This position requires someone who can work well under pressure, maintain attention to detail, and contribute to a team environment.

As a BOH kitchen staff member, you will be tasked with following precise food preparation instructions, adhering to sanitation and food safety codes, and ensuring that all food products leaving the kitchen meet Golden Chick’s high-quality standards. The role also includes assisting with the cleaning and organizing of the kitchen and kitchen equipment to maintain an environment compliant with health and safety regulations. Restocking kitchen items during shifts to ensure smooth operation is another key responsibility.

This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their career in the food service industry, particularly those who have experience as cooks, line cooks, prep cooks, or sous chefs. While previous experience in a back of house kitchen role is preferred, Golden Chick also welcomes candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.
