Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Industry level knowledge of food and beverage
- Basic understanding or willingness to learn French cooking techniques
- Basic knowledge of spirits and wine
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computational and computer skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, and standing for long periods
- Ability to solve problems and make decisions
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
Job Qualifications
- Industry level standard knowledge of food and beverage, including basic aspects of service and food preparation
- Base knowledge or willingness to learn French cooking techniques
- Motivation to learn spirits and wine
- Ability to assist kitchen staff in pre-shift duties
- Ability to assist Back waiters in completion of side duties or mis en place
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Basic computational ability
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to solve problems and make rational decisions
- Knowledge of restaurant operations, services, and facilities
- Physical ability to perform job tasks including bending, stooping, squatting, stretching and lifting up to 30 lbs
- High school diploma or equivalent education required
Job Duties
- Ensure all mis en place are setup and ready for service according to Addison SOP
- Assist service colleagues in completing pre-shift mis en place including polishing all serving trays, setup of the pass area for dinner service, polish buckets and additional side duties as outlined in the pre-shift duties list
- Assist Captain, Back Server and Kitchen Staff in delivering a flawless dining experience, consistently providing exceptional food, superlative service, elegant decor and exquisite presentations
- Assist the Front of House service team by expediting completed dishes to the service area and when needed service the tables
- Communicate effectively between kitchen and Front of House staff
- Assist service colleagues in breakdown and clean-up of service areas including cleaning and storing all pass items and service trays
- Perform additional duties as assigned
