Prontos Gourmet Market is a charming small family restaurant and market located in the beautiful coastal city of Carlsbad, California. Open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Prontos has built a reputation as a go-to spot for locals seeking delicious sandwiches, salads, pastas, and market goods. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Prep Cook to join our culinary team on a part-time basis. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and take pride in their culinary craftsmanship and cleanliness. The role involves preparing fresh food including sandwiches, salads, and pastas, while supporting the kitchen team by maintaining a tidy and organized workspace. The work schedule typically runs weekdays from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate business needs and employee availability.

As a vital member of our kitchen team, the Prep Cook will be responsible for executing food preparation duties with precision and care. Candidates with prior experience in food service settings such as restaurants, hotels, or catering environments will find this opportunity especially suitable.
