Job Description
Peter Piper Pizza is a well-established family dining and entertainment company that embodies its brand values of food, fun, and family. It is a prominent brand under CEC Entertainment, LLC, a national leader headquartered in Irving, Texas, known for creating memorable and engaging family experiences through quality food and lively entertainment. Peter Piper Pizza offers a neighborhood pizzeria experience that combines great food with exciting entertainment options, aiming to bring families and communities together every day. Their commitment to safety, quality, and community involvement is evident through their company programs and operations.
Peter Piper Pizza is currently hiring Kitchen Prep and Utility Team Members who play a crucial role in helping to feed the fun by preparing customer orders and assisting with food preparation in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Team Members at Peter Piper Pizza work collaboratively to ensure that every guest leaves happy, making the guest experience memorable and fun. This role offers opportunities to learn all aspects of restaurant operations, including guest service, food preparation, and cash handling. The company values internal growth — with 70% of management positions filled through promotion from within — reflecting their commitment to taking care of their own team members.
This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who thrive in dynamic environments and want to be part of a company that prioritizes a positive culture and employee development. Employees benefit from the unique "Work Today, Get Paid Tomorrow" program that allows access to earned wages immediately, eliminating the wait between paychecks. This benefit supports financial flexibility and demonstrates Peter Piper Pizza's commitment to addressing the needs of its workforce.
Kitchen Prep and Utility Team Members are responsible for product preparation as ordered by customers, maintaining uncompromising cleanliness and safety standards, managing inventory, and stocking supplies. The role may also involve operating cash registers or point-of-sale terminals as needed, requiring team members to be quick, efficient, and cooperative. The company's standards ensure a safe and healthy environment for both employees and guests, following rigorous health and sanitation guidelines that meet or exceed local regulations. Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions of the job.
Peter Piper Pizza is part of CEC Entertainment, a company that also operates Chuck E. Cheese and Chuck's Arcade brands. These brands are dedicated to creating joyful, lasting memories through fun, food, and play, celebrating over half a million birthdays annually and supporting communities through significant donations. CEC Entertainment is recognized for its innovation and employee well-being, having won awards such as "Best in STEM" and being named one of America’s Greatest Workplaces in recent years.
Peter Piper Pizza operates over 120 venues across 45 states and 18 countries, providing vast opportunities for career growth and development within a diverse and inclusive workplace. The company promotes a culture of diversity and inclusion, ensuring their workforce reflects the backgrounds and perspectives of the guests they serve. Equal opportunity employment practices are strictly followed to ensure fairness and respect for all employees.
