Job Requirements

  • Must have some electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience
  • Experience in restaurant or kitchen maintenance preferred
  • Be familiar with energy isolation practice such as Lock Out Tag Out procedures
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • No felony, theft or stealing convictions
  • Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen
  • Must pass a background investigation
  • Must obtain and maintain a gaming license

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of kitchen equipment maintenance operations

  • Ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in basic English
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding guest service
  • Ability to work in a busy, fast paced environment
  • Ability to perform in a professional appearance and manner
  • Ability to clearly communicate with all management

Job Duties

  • Responsible for keeping all kitchen equipment clean and ready for use
  • Safely disconnect and reconnect electrical and gas line connections
  • Properly dispose of grease and garbage left in or on equipment
  • Safely operate low pressure and medium pressure steam cleaning equipment
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area following all health and food safety regulations
  • Ensure all assigned venues, tools, and support equipment are cared for and duties completed
  • Keep equipment, tools, work stations, and food prep areas clean, organized, and free from clutter and non-approved items
  • Understand and follow through with all assigned tasks
  • Communicate clearly with Maintenance Supervisor and team members regarding equipment operation and repair
  • Work according to established casino procedures
  • Operate within proper safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Maintain good communication with co-workers and foster a positive, professional work environment
  • Contribute to team effort and accomplish related results
  • Perform other duties as required
