Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in kitchen or restaurant management
- Knowledge of safe food handling procedures
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
- Effective communication skills with team members and management

- Experience in kitchen management or similar culinary leadership role
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
- Knowledge of inventory control, food cost management, and scheduling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct training and performance evaluations
- Commitment to providing high-quality customer service
- Familiarity with restaurant operations and employment policies
Job Duties
- Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
- Enforcing compliance with all employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety of the restaurant
- Monitoring and maintaining efficient and effective food item ticket times
- Managing performance of Back of House employees including conducting evaluations, coaching, and discipline
- Assisting in the development of employees through daily feedback during one-on-ones
- Conducting formal line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety
- Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all food items
- Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
- Scheduling and directing work for Back of House employees
- Training employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
- Participating in hiring processes and creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment
