Job Duties

  • Uphold high employment standards and Bloomin' Brands policies
  • Assist with kitchen setups for the opening crew
  • Oversee schedules and ensure proper staffing for incoming shifts
  • Educate team members on security and sanitation procedures
  • Evaluate the previous night's closing operations
  • Monitor daily inventory and prepare for incoming orders
  • Ensure compliance with shelf-life protocols
  • Conduct temperature checks on freezers, dish machines, and refrigeration units prior to prep
  • Learn the flavor profiles and specifications of menu items
  • Strictly follow recipe cards to ensure consistency and quality
  • Review sanitation checklists and carry out daily health inspections
  • Maintain high standards for food safety and sanitation
  • Manage the flow and timing of kitchen orders for optimal cook times
