Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- at least 1 year work experience in food service, retail sales, hospitality or related field
- current ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- experience with cash registers and computerized systems
- strong communication skills
- ability to work in fast-paced, team environment
- commitment to hygiene and cleanliness
- capable of handling physical tasks related to kitchen operations
- willing to work weekend, holiday, and event shifts
- able to pass background checks and pre-placement physical
Job Qualifications

- associate's or vocational/technical school degree preferred
- current ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word
- self-motivated with strong decision-making and organizational abilities

- experience with cash registers and basic computer systems

Job Duties
- pleasantly greet patrons and ensure order accuracy and timely service
- prepare sandwiches and wraps for the Fast Track line
- assist with prep work for lunch at Magee's Grill
- handle barista duties at The Café
- provide coverage at the Bowdoin Express Convenience Store as needed
- follow proper food handling, stocking, and storage procedures
- take and record refrigerator/freezer temperature readings
- operate registers and computerized ordering systems accurately
- train new staff in these systems
- support kitchen cleaning and dishwasher operation
- adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines including related documentation
- prepare end-of-the-day shift reports detailing Magee's sales and Fast Track counts
