Job Description
Ode is an innovative wellness cafe and retail concept dedicated to clean, nourishing food and thoughtful wellness products. This unique establishment is designed not just as a place to eat but as a welcoming space where people genuinely enjoy spending their time. Focused on health-forward, simple, and nourishing food options, Ode aims to build a strong community centered around mindful eating and overall wellness. With an emphasis on fresh breakfast, lunch, juices, and smoothies, the cafe is crafted to offer a high-quality menu that supports a healthy lifestyle. Ode is currently in the exciting phase of building its kitchen and operational systems from the ground up, opening the door for new opportunities and fresh ideas in their culinary journey.
The role of Kitchen Manager at Ode is far from a typical kitchen position. This role presents a unique opportunity to lead and shape all kitchen operations from scratch, bringing order, structure, and excellence to a newly developing team and environment. The successful candidate will play a critical role in establishing consistent standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and food quality, as well as developing workflows and processes in close collaboration with the founder. From managing daily kitchen activities to overseeing inventory, food cost, and staff development, the Kitchen Manager will have comprehensive oversight and the chance to build a kitchen culture that reflects the cafe's wellness-oriented values. This is an ideal position for someone who thrives in a leadership role, enjoys creating systems, and takes pride in producing clean, high-quality food. The compensation will be competitive and reflective of the candidate’s experience. This role is perfect for individuals seeking to leave a meaningful impact on a brand new operation and contribute to the creation of a kitchen environment that supports growth, innovation, and holistic health.
