Job Description

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group is a vibrant and rapidly growing restaurant group based in the Southern United States. Originating from a small restaurant located in New Orleans' Mid-City neighborhood, the group has expanded significantly to operate two distinctive brands, Ruby Slipper and Ruby Sunshine, with over 20 restaurants across the Southeast, and continues to grow. Both brands are celebrated for their unique take on Southern brunch classics infused with the spirit and soul of New Orleans, offering customers an authentic "Big Easy" culinary experience. The group is passionate about creating a culture centered around brunch, considering it not just as a meal but as a social lifestyle and community engagement. This dedication to quality and culture has driven the company’s success and presence in the highly competitive hospitality industry.

The Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Manager to join their team. This full-time role focuses on managing a brunch-only concept restaurant, emphasizing morning shifts to ensure a balanced work-life routine, making it ideal for individuals who want to work during the day and be home for dinner. The Kitchen Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing both the kitchen operations and the front-of-house service, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for every guest. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about hospitality and leading a dynamic team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The successful candidate will thrive in a culture that values teamwork, leadership, and a genuine love for food, particularly breakfast classics enriched with the rich flavors of New Orleans cuisine.

As a Kitchen Manager at Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group, you will be expected to lead by example, exhibiting strong leadership skills to motivate and develop your team while maintaining high service standards. You will need to have a firm belief that butter and bacon truly make everything better, reflecting the brand’s culinary ethos. The role requires hands-on involvement where the manager will fill in where needed, from front-of-house to back-of-house duties, ensuring seamless service and efficient operations. The Kitchen Manager will contribute positively to the company's upward career trajectory, with opportunities for growth and pay increases within a welcoming and supportive work environment.

Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group offers competitive benefits that include medical and dental group benefits, company-provided life insurance, paid time off, a generous profit-based bonus plan, 401K with employer match, and family meals and discounts. This package demonstrates the company’s commitment to the well-being and professional growth of their employees. If you are looking to join a passionate and expanding restaurant group where your leadership and hospitality skills will be appreciated and nurtured, Ruby Slipper Restaurant Group represents an excellent opportunity to grow your career while working in a culture that celebrates brunch and community.
