As a Kitchen Manager reporting directly to the Director of Restaurant Operations, you will be critical to maintaining the highest standards of food quality and operational efficiency. The role involves overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations including managing food preparation, supervising the kitchen staff, and controlling inventory. The Kitchen Manager plays a key role in ensuring smooth kitchen operations during peak periods, maintaining rigorous compliance with safety and sanitation regulations, and coordinating with the front-of-house team to guarantee a positive dining experience for customers. This is a non-exempt position, offering competitive compensation aligned with the responsibilities and expectations of managing a fast-paced kitchen.

The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, with experience as a Kitchen Manager or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or pub. Candidates must hold a valid Nevada Food Handler Card and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations. A strong ability to train, motivate, and manage diverse staff and excellent organizational skills are essential for success in this role. Additionally, experience with inventory management, food cost control, and vendor relations will be highly valued.

This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in challenging kitchen conditions, including standing for long periods, handling high heat, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
