Job Requirements

  • Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 2 years of back-of-house management experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • Valid Food Protection Manager Certification ServSafe
  • Ability to work full-time in person at the Palace Station location
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • 2 plus years of back-of-house management experience in a high-volume kitchen
  • Knowledge of Korean cuisine or butchery is a significant plus
  • Current Food Protection Manager Certification ServSafe
  • Leadership skills with a lead from the front mentality
  • Expert-level skills in inventory tracking and prep-sheet management

Job Duties

  • Manage train and inspire line cooks prep teams and dishwashers
  • Maintain strict quality control for all food items ensuring traditional Korean flavors are executed perfectly every time
  • Manage high-value protein inventory minimize waste and coordinate with vendors to ensure essentials are stocked
  • Oversee food cost management labor hours and equipment maintenance in the kitchen
  • Maintain a Grade A kitchen enforcing health department standards and internal cleanliness protocols
