Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years experience in stewarding or kitchen management role
- Experience leading a union stewarding team preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Positive attitude and initiative in problem-solving
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Previous hands-on leadership experience in stewarding or kitchen management
- Experience working in a union stewarding team or similar environment
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and sanitation standards
- Ability to manage budget and forecasting activities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven capability to lead and motivate a team
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in food service operations
Job Duties
- Assist in the management of all stewarding operations including inventory management
- Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards
- Manage systems and reports including budgeting and forecasting
- Oversee health inspections and safety initiatives
- Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and procedures
- Maintain and ensure the functionality of food service equipment
- Manage inventory control and coordinate distribution of china, glassware, linen, and silver
- Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, scheduling, counseling, and evaluations
