Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 3 years experience in stewarding or kitchen management role
Experience leading a union stewarding team preferred
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to work effectively under pressure
Positive attitude and initiative in problem-solving
Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

Previous hands-on leadership experience in stewarding or kitchen management
Experience working in a union stewarding team or similar environment
Strong knowledge of inventory management and sanitation standards
Ability to manage budget and forecasting activities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proven capability to lead and motivate a team
Familiarity with health and safety regulations in food service operations

Job Duties

Assist in the management of all stewarding operations including inventory management
Maintain sanitation and cleanliness standards
Manage systems and reports including budgeting and forecasting
Oversee health inspections and safety initiatives
Ensure compliance with sanitation standards and procedures
Maintain and ensure the functionality of food service equipment
Manage inventory control and coordinate distribution of china, glassware, linen, and silver
Monitor and develop team member performance through supervision, scheduling, counseling, and evaluations
