Founded in 1968, Casey's has grown significantly, operating hundreds of stores across the United States, and has become a trusted name in the retail and convenience store industry. Casey's offers a diverse range of products including fresh food, baked goods, beverages, and everyday essentials, making it a preferred stop for many customers. The company prides itself on fostering a positive work environment where team members are empowered to grow and succeed. As a leader in the convenience store sector, Casey's continuously seeks talent who align with the company's core values of Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, and Service (CARES).

The Kitchen Manager role at Casey's is a pivotal position within the store leadership team. Acting as a hands-on leader, the Kitchen Manager works closely with the Store Manager to ensure the kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role emphasizes maintaining high food safety standards while overseeing daily kitchen operations and managing inventory. The Kitchen Manager supervises and influences activities in the prepared foods and dispensed beverages areas to maximize productivity and profitability. Key responsibilities include training, guiding, and engaging kitchen team members by delegating tasks effectively and coaching for success. This leadership position ensures the kitchen maintains 5S standards—a systematic approach to workplace organization and cleanliness—to promote safety and efficiency.

Compensation for the Kitchen Manager position starts in the range of $17.50 to $20.15 per hour, with actual pay adjusted based on the candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience. Moreover, the role offers quarterly bonus opportunities directly linked to kitchen performance, rewarding those who contribute to operational excellence. Casey's also supports career advancement through growth and development programs, providing team members with pathways to build long-term, fulfilling careers within the company. Benefits for this role include competitive pay, health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday pay, 401(k) retirement plans with company matching, DailyPay for early access to earned wages, and team member discounts. This comprehensive benefits package reflects Casey's dedication to employee well-being and satisfaction.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong leadership skills, the ability to communicate clearly, and an ownership mindset. Being organized and capable of managing inventory efficiently are critical, along with adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment. The Kitchen Manager must embody Casey's CARES values and be committed to delivering top-tier guest service. This role also occasionally requires hands-on involvement in store team member duties, further underscoring the importance of versatility and a team-oriented approach. Joining Casey's as a Kitchen Manager means contributing to a company that values teamwork, excellence, and community connection, making it an exciting opportunity for dynamic individuals passionate about leadership and operations management within the food service and retail sector.
