Job Description

The Kitchen Manager position at our assisted living and memory care community focuses on delivering high-quality, delicious, and nutritious food while ensuring proper food safety, sanitation, and profitability goals are met. The Kitchen Manager oversees the kitchen and heart of the house team members to provide exceptional dining experiences for residents and their guests.

Job Requirements

  • 2-year culinary degree or at least 5 years of related experience in a supervisory role
  • extensive food and beverage knowledge
  • strong line cooking proficiency and knife skills
  • excellent communication and multi-lingual skills
  • customer-focused with a servant-leader mentality and good management skills
  • computer-savvy with experience in culinary software and Microsoft Office products
  • ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • physically able to walk, sit, stand, reach, bend, stoop, and lift 50 lbs
  • willingness to take and pass a drug screen
  • ability to perform a practical cooking demonstration during the hiring process
