As a Kitchen Manager at Flanigan's, you will be the captain of the kitchen, leading the back-of-house (BOH) team through the dynamic and fast-paced environment of daily restaurant operations. This role requires a passionate and organized individual who can balance hands-on cooking with effective delegation and team leadership. Your responsibilities will span from ordering and receiving ingredients to prepping, service, cleaning, and closing the kitchen, ensuring every detail meets the high standards set by Flanigan's. Communication is vital, as you must maintain constant contact with management, document all kitchen issues, and participate in regular meetings and evaluations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong ownership mentality, be adaptable to scheduling demands including potential relocation up to 30 miles from the current restaurant location, and be well-versed in Florida State health code standards. You will need to demonstrate proficiency at all kitchen stations, including expediter roles, and be prepared to work a demanding 50 to 55-hour workweek. The position offers a competitive starting salary and a five-day workweek with two consecutive days off.

Job Qualifications

  • current food management certification

Job Duties
