  • Strong understanding of food cost, labor management, and inventory systems
  • Ability to lead calmly and confidently during heavy rushes
  • A coach mindset
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and systems-driven
  • ServSafe Certified or willing to obtain
  • Available for weekends and peak hours
  • Willing to step in when needed to support the team

Job Duties

  • Lead and supervise all kitchen operations during service
  • Maintain food quality, consistency, and ticket times
  • Order food and supplies based on demand and sales trends
  • Control food cost and minimize waste
  • Create and maintain prep systems and daily processes
  • Train and develop line cooks for speed, accuracy, and teamwork
  • Schedule kitchen staff efficiently based on volume
  • Maintain labor percentage goals
  • Conduct weekly inventory and manage product storage compliance
  • Ensure strict adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Address performance issues professionally and immediately
  • Work alongside the team during rushes - this is a working leadership role
