Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • Proven leadership ability in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Familiarity with health department regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Capacity to manage kitchen staff and resources effectively
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Kitchen Manager or BOH Manager in full-service restaurants
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to train and develop culinary staff
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience with inventory management

Job Duties

  • Leading BOH execution during daily service
  • Upholding and enforcing Department of Health safety, sanitation, and compliance standards
  • Coaching the kitchen team and maintaining high food quality standards
  • Training and developing all back of house team members
  • Taking ownership of kitchen facilities, equipment, and organization
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
