The company is well-regarded for delivering immersive experiences in bowling, amusement parks, water parks, and family entertainment centers. Additionally, Lucky Strike Entertainment owns the Professional Bowlers Association, the premier league for bowling that attracts millions of followers worldwide. This innovative and dynamic entertainment platform focuses on creating memorable moments for guests by combining the thrill of entertainment with exceptional food and beverage services. The company prides itself on a vibrant work environment that values creativity, leadership, and outstanding customer service.
The role of a Kitchen Manager at Lucky Strike Entertainment is a critical one, blending culinary skills with strong management capabilities. This position is responsible for overseeing the Food & Beverage program, ensuring that nationally recognized menus are delivered with excellence while maintaining high standards and operational efficiency. The Kitchen Manager will lead the kitchen team, managing daily operations from food preparation to cleanliness and staff scheduling. This full-time position offers an attractive salary range of $70,000 to $75,000 per year, complemented by performance-based incentives and a comprehensive benefits package that includes healthcare coverage among other perks.
In this role, candidates must embrace the company's mandated Food & Beverage menus and purchasing programs, carefully monitor financials such as budgeted revenue, cost of sales, labor, and supplies to maintain profitability, and support event planning and execution by working closely with the Operations and Sales teams. The Kitchen Manager is also tasked with recruiting, training, and retaining a skilled kitchen staff, ensuring food quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards. Maintaining compliance with local health regulations through stringent sanitation audits and equipment maintenance is essential.
Ideal candidates are experienced Kitchen Managers who bring more than three years in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues. Strong leadership qualities, advanced profit and loss management capabilities, and excellent organizational and communication skills are vital. Candidates with a Bachelor's or culinary degree are preferred, as well as those holding ServSafe certification, with additional preference given to those who have ServSafe instructor certification or are willing to obtain it.
Working within Lucky Strike Entertainment means being part of a fast-paced, engaging environment where one will manage a diverse team including lead cooks, cooks, dishwashers, and servers, while supporting the General Manager on all food-related matters. The Kitchen Manager should be ready to handle the physical demands of the role, which include walking, standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting with assistance when necessary. Experience with banquet-style event preparation or catering is a plus but not mandatory.
Overall, this role offers culinary professionals an exciting opportunity to advance their career within a globally recognized entertainment brand, where culinary excellence meets dynamic customer engagement in a lively, supportive atmosphere.
