Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- minimum three years of kitchen management experience
- current ServSafe certification
- ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- strong organizational and leadership skills
- ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- ability to lift objects with some assistance
- effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- minimum three years of kitchen management experience
- bachelor’s degree or culinary degree preferred
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
- experience preparing banquet style events preferred
- current ServSafe certification required
- ability to obtain ServSafe instructor certification preferred
- strong leadership and communication skills
- proficiency in budget and profit and loss management
Job Duties
- adhere to company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- maintain budgeted revenue, food costs, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
- review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
- collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute events including food preparation, service, and cleanup
- estimate food consumption and manage purchasing accordingly
- schedule staff efficiently to meet business volume fluctuations
- recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- ensure product quality, freshness, presentation meet company standards
- supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
- manage kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits complying with local health department regulations
