Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • minimum three years of kitchen management experience
  • current ServSafe certification
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • strong organizational and leadership skills
  • ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • ability to lift objects with some assistance
  • effective communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • minimum three years of kitchen management experience
  • bachelor’s degree or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venue required
  • experience preparing banquet style events preferred
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ability to obtain ServSafe instructor certification preferred
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • proficiency in budget and profit and loss management

Job Duties

  • adhere to company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, food costs, labor, supplies, and operating cash flow related to food operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and make necessary adjustments
  • collaborate with Operations and Sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute events including food preparation, service, and cleanup
  • estimate food consumption and manage purchasing accordingly
  • schedule staff efficiently to meet business volume fluctuations
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • ensure product quality, freshness, presentation meet company standards
  • supervise food preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance and sanitation audits complying with local health department regulations
