Job Description
Our family-owned seafood restaurant group, located in Scottsdale, AZ, has built a reputation for delivering delicious and sustainable seafood offerings to a loyal customer base. Known for our dedication to quality, freshness, and innovative culinary experiences, we have grown steadily thanks to our commitment to excellent food and outstanding service. We pride ourselves on combining traditional seafood cooking techniques with contemporary culinary trends to create memorable dining experiences for both locals and visitors alike. As a family-owned business, we foster a warm work environment that places value on teamwork, creativity, and continuous improvement.
We are currently seeking a full-time Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary operations and be an integral part of our growing restaurant group. This important leadership role offers a competitive salary ranging from $75,000 to $85,000 annually based on experience, along with a profit sharing program with 20-40% target participation. The Kitchen Manager will directly oversee culinary staff, manage food costs efficiently, and spearhead innovative menu development that keeps our seafood offerings fresh, exciting, and in line with current industry trends. With retirement plan options including 401K and IRA, as well as benefits covering health, dental, and vision insurance, this position offers robust support for the right candidate. Paid time off increases progressively from two weeks in the first year to 21 days by the fifth year, complemented by free shift meals.
The ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience in an executive kitchen management role, preferably within the seafood sector or similar concept. They will bring both deep culinary expertise and exceptional leadership skills, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly, safely, and creatively. Experience with restaurant grand openings, including staffing kitchens from the ground up, is highly valued. Knowledge of federal, state, and local food safety regulations is essential, as well as proficiency in training, directing, and motivating culinary teams. Spanish language skills are preferred to enhance communication within our diverse workforce.
This is a unique opportunity for a passionate culinary professional with a creative vision to join a supportive and dynamic team dedicated to culinary excellence and sustainability. Our Kitchen Manager will play an essential role in driving innovation, maintaining high standards of food quality, and ensuring a positive, productive kitchen environment that reflects our brand’s values and commitment to guests. If you have a passion for seafood and leadership, and a track record of successful kitchen management, we invite you to bring your talents to our expanding restaurant family and grow with us in Scottsdale.
