Job Requirements
- minimum of 3 years of kitchen management experience
- current ServSafe certification
- experience working in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
- ability to lead and manage kitchen staff effectively
- capability in budget management related to food and labor costs
- strong organizational and communication skills
- physical ability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods and lift with assistance
Job Qualifications
- 3 plus years of kitchen management experience
- bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
- experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues required
- experience preparing banquet style events preferred
- current ServSafe certification required
- ability to become ServSafe instructor preferred
- strong customer service and communication skills
- proven leadership and organizational capabilities
- knowledge of food safety regulations and standards
Job Duties
- adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
- maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow related to food operations
- review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
- work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including food and beverage preparation, service, and cleanup
- assist with cooking when needed
- estimate food consumption and make purchases according to specified food programs
- schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
- recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
- ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
- supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
- manage kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local health regulations
