Job Requirements

  • minimum of 3 years of kitchen management experience
  • current ServSafe certification
  • experience working in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues
  • ability to lead and manage kitchen staff effectively
  • capability in budget management related to food and labor costs
  • strong organizational and communication skills
  • physical ability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods and lift with assistance

Job Qualifications

  • 3 plus years of kitchen management experience
  • bachelor’s or culinary degree preferred
  • experience in high-volume retail, entertainment, hospitality, or restaurant venues required
  • experience preparing banquet style events preferred
  • current ServSafe certification required
  • ability to become ServSafe instructor preferred
  • strong customer service and communication skills
  • proven leadership and organizational capabilities
  • knowledge of food safety regulations and standards

Job Duties

  • adhere to the company’s mandated food and beverage menu and purchasing programs
  • maintain budgeted revenue, costs of sales, labor, supplies, as well as operating cash flow related to food operations
  • review monthly profit and loss statements and make adjustments as necessary
  • work with operations and sales teams to plan, supervise, and execute all events including food and beverage preparation, service, and cleanup
  • assist with cooking when needed
  • estimate food consumption and make purchases according to specified food programs
  • schedule staff efficiently to accommodate business volume shifts
  • recruit, hire, train, and retain kitchen staff
  • ensure product quality, freshness, and presentation meet company standards
  • supervise preparation, portioning, garnishing, and storage of all food
  • manage kitchen equipment maintenance and conduct sanitation audits and cleaning schedules to comply with local health regulations
