The role of Kitchen Manager at Pizza Ranch is central to maintaining the high standards the brand is known for. The Kitchen Manager plays a pivotal part in managing daily operations in the kitchen, ensuring quality control, and overseeing food safety protocols. Leadership is key in this role, as it involves guiding and developing the back-of-house team to consistently deliver craveable food items that satisfy guests' expectations. The Kitchen Manager also serves as a trusted liaison between the kitchen staff and general management, contributing to an efficient and welcoming work environment.
A Kitchen Manager’s responsibilities include maintaining food quality and safety standards, supporting the training of new and current kitchen staff, effectively responding to guest concerns, and fostering community engagement through partnerships. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous restaurant experience
- Preferably restaurant management experience
- Passion for people leadership
- Strong multitasking ability
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and preparation
- Basic computer proficiency
- Physical ability to stand and be mobile for long shifts
Job Qualifications

- Effective communicator and listener with good oral and written communication skills
- General food safety and preparation knowledge

Job Duties
- Maintain high-quality food and food safety standards
- Assist with the training and development of new and existing back-of-house team members
- Provide craveable food and lead staff to do the same
- Build community engagement by partnering with other organizations and businesses
- Respond to guest complaints quickly and resolve them effectively
- Report to the General Manager
