Job Description

Pizza Ranch Inc., founded in 1981 in Hull, Iowa, is a fast-casual restaurant chain renowned for its signature pizzas, The Country's Best Chicken, fresh salads, desserts, and convenient delivery and take-out options. Over the years, Pizza Ranch has evolved by incorporating FunZone Arcades into many of its locations, providing in-restaurant entertainment featuring the latest games with prize redemption. The company has grown rapidly since its inception and now boasts over 220 locations across 15 states. This growth has propelled Pizza Ranch to become a beloved dining destination for families and individuals seeking quality food alongside fun and engaging experiences.

Pizza Ranch prides itself on its strong values reflected through its vision and mission statements. The vision is to glorify God by positively impacting the world, and the mission is to deliver a legendary experience to every guest. This unique perspective positions Pizza Ranch not just as a place to eat but as a business ministry opportunity where hospitality, exceptional food, and family fun intersect to create memorable moments. The company also emphasizes being a positive community leader and strives to make a meaningful difference both within and beyond its walls. This commitment to care and service guides every team member's interaction with guests and colleagues.

The role of Kitchen Manager at Pizza Ranch is central to maintaining the high standards the brand is known for. The Kitchen Manager plays a pivotal part in managing daily operations in the kitchen, ensuring quality control, and overseeing food safety protocols. Leadership is key in this role, as it involves guiding and developing the back-of-house team to consistently deliver craveable food items that satisfy guests' expectations. The Kitchen Manager also serves as a trusted liaison between the kitchen staff and general management, contributing to an efficient and welcoming work environment.

A Kitchen Manager’s responsibilities include maintaining food quality and safety standards, supporting the training of new and current kitchen staff, effectively responding to guest concerns, and fostering community engagement through partnerships. This position demands someone with a passion for people leadership, strong multitasking abilities, and excellent communication skills. Moreover, the Kitchen Manager must be prepared to stay active and mobile throughout the shift to meet the dynamic needs of the kitchen.

Employment with a Pizza Ranch franchisee means working directly with an independent business owner who sets the wage and benefits. Therefore, compensation and benefits packages may vary. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to contribute to a growing company with a strong cultural foundation, delivering great food and memorable experiences to diverse guests. If you are enthusiastic about restaurant operations and enjoy leading teams in a busy culinary environment, this role could be a perfect fit for you.
