The establishment features a full-service restaurant alongside two lively bars, providing guests with a diverse and exciting culinary experience. Beyond dining and drinks, WesCo Brew & Bowl offers an incredible array of attractions including augmented reality bowling, interactive darts, a virtual reality arena, a comprehensive arcade, a billiards lounge, and an inviting outdoor patio complete with fire pits and lawn games. This venue is designed to cater to a wide range of guests, from casual visitors seeking an entertaining night out to those looking to host large-scale events and game-day watch parties across more than 50 televisions.
As a workplace, WesCo Brew & Bowl is recognized for its fast-paced, guest-focused environment that fosters growth and energy among team members. The venue encourages an atmosphere where every day brings new challenges and opportunities, making it an exciting place to develop a fulfilling career. The company is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead its kitchen operations, offering an annual salary range between $65,000.00 and $70,000.00.
The Kitchen Manager at WesCo Brew & Bowl is a pivotal role entrusted with overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations. This includes maintaining quality control, ensuring profitability, managing kitchen personnel and scheduling, upholding kitchen area cleanliness, and complying with food safety standards. The Kitchen Manager is also responsible for equipment maintenance, product control and security, ordering, and inventory management within this bustling entertainment venue. Additionally, the role involves coordinating and executing all parties and banquets in partnership with the Sales Department and Director of Sales and Marketing (DOSM). This position demands strong leadership and organizational skills to effectively manage the kitchen team and operations without acting as an executive chef.
The successful candidate will manage and lead each shift to maximize guest satisfaction and profitability by overseeing daily kitchen production and team member productivity. They will be responsible for enforcing food safety standards and quality control while managing cost control systems and resolving operational and Profit & Loss issues with timely corrective actions. The Kitchen Manager will also engage in performing kitchen duties such as cooking and prepping during slower periods or when staff shortages occur. Management tasks will include maintaining adherence to recipes, managing product ordering and inventory, and acting as the liaison between the venue and contracted vendors. Participation in management meetings and providing systematic feedback on vendor services is also an essential aspect of the role.
Moreover, the Kitchen Manager will be responsible for all aspects of kitchen team member management, encompassing hiring, training, development, scheduling, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and discharge procedures. Ensuring compliance with employee break schedules to avoid penalties and maintaining a harassment-free work environment are additional critical responsibilities. WesCo Brew & Bowl values team members who demonstrate discipline, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a high-volume, full-service casual dining environment. Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Word and Excel, are required. The role also demands availability to work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with physical requirements such as frequent walking, standing, lifting, and working near kitchen equipment and chemicals. This role offers a challenging yet rewarding career opportunity for a kitchen professional eager to contribute to an exciting hospitality brand with a unique entertainment concept.
