  • oversee back of house operations including cleanliness and sanitation
  • manage hourly kitchen staff and direct their activities
  • implement purchasing and cost control procedures
  • address and resolve corrective action issues
  • ensure compliance with food safety standards
  • coordinate with other restaurant departments to meet operational goals
  • maintain inventory and ordering processes
