Job Requirements
- Open availability including nights weekends and holidays
- Ability to manage and lead kitchen staff effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must comply with food safety standards and procedures
- Experience with conducting employee evaluations and coaching
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and perform kitchen duties
- Willingness to work flexible hours including busy shifts
Job Qualifications
- Proven managerial experience in a kitchen or food service environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience with inventory management and food cost control
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in scheduling and employee training
Job Duties
- Manage hourly back of house employees including conducting performance evaluations coaching and discipline
- Review applications interviewing and hiring back of house employees
- Direct work for employees including setting hours and weekly schedules and assigning tasks before during and after open hours of the restaurant
- Do food orders according to pars
- Provide direct and schedule back of house training
- Supervise and oversee the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
- Plate dishes according to Native Grill & Wings plate presentations
- Conduct formal line taste and temperature checks
- Enforce appropriate security measures at the restaurant to maintain safety of employees and guests
- Manage food costs by conducting bi-weekly inventory
- Understand manage and practice safe food handling procedures
- Maintain a positive consistent open working environment
