We are currently seeking a Restaurant Manager to join our dedicated team. This is a full-time position with a starting salary range of $45,000 to $50,000 annually. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the profitability, sanitation, and overall execution of the restaurant’s operations. This role requires a hands-on leader who can actively engage with staff and supervisors to maintain high standards in kitchen execution and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing daily business activities, addressing guest concerns promptly, and communicating effectively with senior management to drive sales and staffing goals.
In this role, the Restaurant Manager will also ensure that maintenance issues are handled swiftly, coordinating with the maintenance team as necessary to keep the building and equipment in optimal condition. The position offers a flexible work schedule, though weekend availability is required, making it suitable for candidates who are adaptable and ready to meet the demands of a fast-paced restaurant environment. Job Requirements
- Must consent to a background check
- Must be able to obtain Servsafe Manager certificate or equivalent within 30 days of hire
- Must be able to obtain Basset certification within 30 days of hire
- Must be able to obtain Allergen certificate within 30 days of hire
- Must have a valid driver's license and insurance
- An average work week will be 50 plus hours
- Be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Lift, load and carry up to 40 pounds
- Work with hot and cold food items
Job Qualifications
- Has at least 2 years of restaurant management experience
- College degree is preferred but not required
- High school degree is sufficient if you have leadership experience
- Extremely friendly, polite and a people person who has attention to detail
- Great communication skills that will help the staff to understand daily expectations to meet various goals
- Ability to coach and develop a diverse staff and handle in the moment coaching events in a stressful environment in a professional manner
Job Duties
- Responsible for the profitability, sanitation and execution of the restaurant
- Engaging with the staff as well as the supervisors to ensure high kitchen execution and guest satisfaction
- Assisting with any guest complaints from the dining room or carry out areas
- Communicating with the general manager about sales, traffic, staffing goals and other various issues
- Monitoring the maintenance of the building and equipment and contacting the maintenance team when repairs are required
