Job Duties
- Oversee and coordinate all kitchen activities ensuring food is prepared and served according to Uncle Giuseppe's recipes portion standards and presentation guidelines
- Manage and mentor kitchen staff fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Conduct hiring training performance evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed
- Maintain and monitor kitchen inventory placing orders based on menu needs and business demand
- Partner with department managers to develop menu items set pricing and determine portion sizes
- Schedule shifts based on business needs holidays and special events
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Maintain a clean organized and safe kitchen environment
- Conduct regular inventories and implement measures to minimize waste
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
- Oversee all food safety inventory and quality assurance processes
- Ensure food is stored labeled and handled according to proper safety standards
- Monitor product quality and consistency throughout the day
- Enforce food safety compliance among all team members
