Bubba’s 33 is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead all Back of House operations. This full-time role involves overseeing the purchasing, receiving, preparation, and presentation of food products, ensuring adherence to established recipes and procedures. As a Kitchen Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and efficiency. They will supervise kitchen staff, manage inventory, control food and labor costs, and ensure a clean and safe work environment.

The Kitchen Manager position emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and operational excellence. This role involves coaching and developing kitchen employees through performance evaluations, daily feedback, and formal training. Additional responsibilities include enforcing employment policies, managing schedules, and fostering a positive culture aligned with the company’s core values. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in kitchen management or a similar role
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
  • Good communication skills

Job Duties

  • Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
  • Enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and safety in the restaurant
  • Monitoring and maintaining efficient food item ticket times
  • Managing Back of House employee performance, including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
  • Providing daily feedback and developing key employees through one-on-one interactions
  • Conducting formal line taste and temperature checks to ensure inventory safety
  • Overseeing the proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
  • Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
  • Creating staff schedules, assigning tasks, and directing work before, during, and after restaurant hours
  • Training Back of House employees on equipment maintenance and cleaning
  • Reviewing applications, interviewing, and hiring or recommending hires
  • Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment consistent with company values
