Job Qualifications
- 1-3 years of kitchen management experience
- Culinary arts degree preferred
- Food Managers Certification required
- Proficient in guest service, administration, and follow-up
- Comfortable communicating with guests, peers, and vendors
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of food and beverage functions
- Advanced knowledge of food, health, and safety regulations
- Availability to work holidays, nights, and weekends with flexibility during peak times
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, bend, and traverse stairs frequently
Job Duties
- Provide direction, coaching, and leadership for all BOH employees
- Hires, coaches, and trains kitchen staff for assignments and equipment handling
- Train kitchen and concessions personnel in cleanliness and sanitation practices
- Ensure employee adherence to company policies and procedures
- Utilize tools to guarantee food quality and timely preparation
- Manage food freshness through proper purchasing and product rotation
- Check and record food storage and temperatures daily
- Attend and conduct training for new menu items
- Communicate and implement changes to food products and kitchen procedures
- Check and maintain food holding and refrigeration temperatures
- Roll out company initiatives and new menu implementations
- Oversee daily opening, mid, and closing operations
- Maintain kitchen equipment and coordinate repairs
- Deliver exceptional guest experiences through quality food and drinks
- Practice proactive guest management
- Assist FOH duties as needed
- Schedule kitchen staff according to occupancy and movie schedule
- Execute private events to maximize sales and guest experience
- Control food costs and waste
- Ensure delivery of budget, goals, and objectives
- Perform other duties as assigned
