Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years kitchen management experience
  • Food Manager Certification
  • Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends, and peak times

Job Duties

  • Provide direction, coaching, and leadership for all BOH employees including food preparation, safety and sanitation, and company policies
  • Hire, coach, and train kitchen staff on assignments and equipment handling
  • Train kitchen and concessions personnel on cleanliness and sanitation practices
  • Ensure employee adherence to company policies and procedures in partnership with HR
  • Utilize tools to prepare quality food to recipe specifications within approved ticket times
  • Ensure food freshness through purchasing and product rotation using FIFO method
  • Check and record food storage temperatures daily and notify maintenance if needed
  • Attend trainings for new menu items and train staff on preparation
  • Communicate, implement, and follow up on changes in food products and kitchen procedures
  • Monitor food holding and refrigeration temperature control points
  • Roll out company initiatives and new menu implementations
  • Complete daily opening, mid, and closing kitchen duties
  • Maintain kitchen equipment and coordinate repairs
  • Deliver exceptional guest experience through quality food and drinks
  • Practice proactive guest management and resolve issues positively
  • Assist FOH duties as necessary
  • Schedule kitchen staff according to occupancy and movie schedules
  • Execute private events to maximize sales
  • Control food costs by following proper requisition, storage, recipes, and waste procedures
  • Ensure delivery of daily and weekly budgets and goals
  • Perform other duties as assigned
