Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience as a cook or in a kitchen environment beneficial
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Dave & Buster's recipes and quality standards
  • maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work station adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • inform immediate supervisor of operational issues or unusual circumstances and suggest solutions
  • efficiently manage time to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
  • accurately follow recipes and portion control guidelines to minimize waste
  • assist with inventory management including proper storage and rotation of food items
  • operate kitchen equipment safely and report any malfunctions promptly
  • maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas including washing dishes and utensils
  • assist in receiving and storing food deliveries ensuring accuracy and quality
  • collaborate with kitchen staff and service team members to ensure smooth and efficient service
  • support fellow team members to maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment
  • foster positive relationships with all team members to promote an enjoyable atmosphere
