We are currently seeking a dependable and motivated Kitchen Line Cook to join our team and contribute to the seamless operation of our kitchen.

The role of Kitchen Line Cook is an essential position responsible for executing all assigned prep work and preparing menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards. This includes daily specials, which require attention to detail and a strong understanding of culinary techniques. The ideal candidate will maintain product quality, adhere to cook time standards, and help set up and clean cooking equipment to ensure an efficient and sanitary work environment. Working in a fast-paced kitchen requires good communication skills and physical stamina, as you will be using knives and food preparation equipment, standing and moving quickly for periods of up to six hours. Cross-training is part of the role, enabling team members to gain experience at various kitchen stations and develop a well-rounded skill set. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior kitchen or food preparation experience preferred
  • ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours
  • good communication skills
  • ability to use food preparation equipment safely
  • flexibility to work part-time hours
  • willingness to learn multiple kitchen stations

Job Duties

  • You will be responsible for completing all assigned prep work, maintaining product presentations, product quality, cook time standards and preparing all menu items according to the restaurant's recipes, plate presentations and specifications
  • Including daily specials
  • Duties of this position will include set up of equipment, verification of stock, the cleaning of cooking equipment, and preparing food items to specification while maintaining a clean work area
  • A qualified applicant must have good communication skills, use knives, slicing and other food preparation equipment while standing and exert well-pace mobility for periods of up to 6 hours in length
  • Additionally, as a member of the Kitchen Team, you will cross-train and learn other stations and positions in the Kitchen
