This Kitchen Line Cook position is an essential role that contributes directly to the success of the customer experience at Dave & Buster's. As a Kitchen Line Cook, you will play a pivotal part in preparing high-quality food items that delight guests and enhance their overall entertainment experience. Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude in a fast-paced environment
  • Be available to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Understand and follow written and verbal instructions including recipes and safety procedures
  • Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
  • Stand and move throughout the kitchen for extended periods
  • Frequently reach, bend, stoop, kneel, and lift
  • Use hands and arms to operate kitchen equipment and perform tasks requiring fine motor skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to Dave & Buster's recipes and quality standards

  • Inform immediate supervisor of any operational issues or unusual circumstances and proactively suggest solutions
  • Efficiently manage time to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
  • Accurately follow recipes and portion control guidelines to minimize waste and maintain cost efficiency
  • Assist with inventory management including proper storage and rotation of food items
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, reporting any malfunctions promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas, including washing dishes and utensils
  • Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries ensuring accuracy and quality
  • Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff and service team members
  • Support fellow team members to maintain a positive and productive kitchen environment
  • Foster a positive and cooperative working relationship with all team members
