Job Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or culinary environment
- Strong knowledge of dietary department practices and dietary aide experience preferred
- Demonstrated skills in menu planning, meal preparation, and culinary techniques including knife skills
- Experience with fine dining establishments or upscale food service environments is highly desirable
- Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality control
- Excellent communication skills with a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service
- Knowledge of the food industry regulations, food handling procedures, and catering operations

Job Duties
- Lead and supervise line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient meal preparation and presentation
- Oversee food handling, safety procedures, and sanitation standards in compliance with health regulations
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and portion control to maintain consistency and quality
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and monitor food storage to minimize waste
- Train new team members on culinary techniques, knife skills, and food safety protocols
- Support catering events and special functions by preparing meals according to specified standards
