Job Description

Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is a leading fast-casual restaurant chain committed to cultivating a better world by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food made with wholesome ingredients free from artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Operating internationally with locations across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle is distinguished by owning and operating all of its restaurants in North America and Europe, setting a high standard for quality control and sustainability. Since its inception, Chipotle has revolutionized the fast-food industry by focusing on a mission to make better food accessible to everyone, while promoting sustainable farming and transparent food sourcing. The company is not only passionate about delivering an unparalleled guest experience but also about leading innovations in digital technology and sustainable business practices.

Joining Chipotle means becoming part of a people-first company that values diversity, equity, and inclusion, fostering an environment where every employee's contribution is recognized and celebrated. The company prides itself on nurturing future leaders from within its Crew by providing meaningful opportunities for growth and development. As a Kitchen Leader at Chipotle, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and deliciousness of the food served every day. This position requires commitment, attention to detail, and leadership skills to train and mentor Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders, instilling in them the company's Food With Integrity philosophy.

The Kitchen Leader will be responsible for preparing menu items by grilling meats, sautéing vegetables, and following established kitchen procedures to maintain high food quality standards. This role also involves managing food inventory, minimizing waste, and ensuring all kitchen operations comply with safety and sanitation regulations. In addition to operational duties, Kitchen Leaders act as role models for teamwork, communication, and customer service, fostering a positive work environment where every team member feels supported and motivated.

Chipotle offers competitive pay ranging from $21.25 to $23.65 per hour, inclusive of digital tips, reflecting the skill level and experience of the Kitchen Leader. Employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes tuition assistance covering 100% of select degrees or up to $5,250 per year, medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holiday closures, free meals during shifts, and opportunities for advancement. Notably, 80% of Chipotle's management team began their careers as Crew members, demonstrating the company's strong commitment to employee growth.

If you are passionate about food, leadership, and delivering outstanding customer experiences, the Kitchen Leader role at Chipotle offers a unique opportunity to grow professionally while contributing to a mission-driven brand dedicated to making a positive impact on the food industry and the world.
