Job Description
Chipotle Mexican Grill, Inc. is a globally recognized fast-casual restaurant chain known for cultivating a better world by serving responsibly sourced, classically cooked, real food. With a steadfast commitment to food with integrity, Chipotle prioritizes wholesome ingredients free from artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. Operating across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany, Chipotle stands out as one of the few restaurant companies of its size that owns and operates all its locations in North America and Europe. This dedication to quality and sustainability, combined with a passion for providing an exceptional guest experience, positions Chipotle as a leader and innovator in the food industry. Chipotle’s mission extends beyond simply serving food—it is about making better food accessible to everyone while leading the way in digital technology and sustainable business practices.
As a Kitchen Leader at Chipotle, you will play an essential role in maintaining the high food quality standards that the company prides itself on. This position offers a unique opportunity to learn key culinary skills such as grilling meats, sautéing vegetables, and preparing dishes that are both delicious and consistent with Chipotle’s standards. The Kitchen Leader is responsible for ensuring that the kitchen is clean, organized, well-stocked, and that all equipment is properly maintained and safe to use. This role also serves as a leadership position where you will train and develop other crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders, fostering teamwork and upholding customer service excellence. Being a Kitchen Leader means being hands-on and proactive—whether you are cooking food, managing inventory, or supporting your teammates, you will embody the spirit of collaboration central to Chipotle’s culture. The role is fast-paced and requires someone who thrives on being active, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to an outstanding customer experience.
Chipotle values diversity, equity, and inclusion, ensuring a supportive workplace where all employees are encouraged to grow and succeed. The company offers competitive compensation, medical, dental, and vision insurance, and robust benefits like tuition assistance for select degrees, paid time off, free food, digital tips, holiday closures, and opportunities for advancement with 80% of managers having started as crew members. Through this position, you will not only help maintain operational excellence but also be a part of a forward-thinking company dedicated to sustainable farming and changing the future of fast food. Chipotle is an equal opportunity employer and provides reasonable accommodations to qualified applicants with disabilities. This role at Chipotle is perfect for someone passionate about food, leadership, and making a difference through their work.
