Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of cashier and customer service experience
- Ability to pass a background check
- Strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Energetic and customer-focused personality
- Ability to multi-task and adapt quickly
- Computer literate
- Foodservice industry experience preferred
- English proficiency
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED, or equivalent military or practical experience
- 1-2 years of previous cashier and customer service experience
- Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Energetic personality with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to multi-task and learn quickly in a dynamic retail environment
- Computer literacy is a must
- Foodservice industry experience is a plus
- Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficiently
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is strongly preferred
Job Duties
- Assist professional chefs, restaurant owners, and cooking enthusiasts with their purchases at the counter
- Proactively communicate and collaborate with vendors and customers to facilitate special orders
- Provide active upselling on the sales floor, identifying opportunities to enhance customer orders and increase revenue
- Achieve weekly and monthly sales goals to contribute to the overall success of the store
- Engage in the quote/bid process and ensure diligent follow-up with customers
- Conduct active outreach to both lapsed and current customers to foster ongoing relationships and repeat business
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and effectively
