The Adventist Health Arena is known for hosting diverse events ranging from large-scale banquets and catered functions to high-attendance sports and entertainment events. As a Kitchen Cook at this venue, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all food preparation meets the high standards expected by ASM Global and its clients.
The Kitchen Cook position at Adventist Health Arena involves working primarily in the main kitchen as well as various concession locations throughout the facility. The role entails preparing food items in accordance with banquet event orders, following established recipes and food safety protocols. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety in the kitchen, ensuring that all equipment is properly maintained and sanitized. Additionally, the position includes designing appealing buffet food presentations that enhance guest satisfaction and contribute to the overall event experience.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- 1 year experience in a banquet facility preparing meals for large events
- ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, lifting, stooping, and walking
- ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
- food handler's permit or ability to obtain one upon hire
- attend ASM Global alcohol and policy training classes
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Supervises temporary labor
- fulfills the service per each banquet event order (BEO)
- prepares recipes as directed
- maintains all kitchen equipment cleanliness and annual maintenance
- designs buffet food presentations
- maintains a clean and safe working environment
