Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in cooking or culinary role required
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to follow standardized recipes and guidelines
- Basic math and counting skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Commitment to maintaining food safety and cleanliness standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cook or in a relevant culinary role
- Knowledge of cooking methods and food preparation principles
- Familiarity with food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Food safety certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Basic math skills and ability to count ingredients accurately
- Strong communication skills and teamwork ability
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
Job Duties
- Create a diverse selection of dishes using standardized recipes and production guidelines
- Arrange work areas with necessary ingredients and tools
- Prepare ingredients by cutting, trimming, measuring, blending
- Safely operate kitchen tools and appliances including knives, ovens, stovetops, mixers
- Cook dishes through baking, broiling, roasting, steaming and other methods
- Present and distribute meals adhering to standards for appearance and quantity
- Follow recommended food safety protocols and store food appropriately
- Maintain hygiene of kitchen surfaces, machinery, and tools through cleaning and disinfecting
- Provide outstanding service to customers with a positive attitude
- Adhere to Aramark's safety and sanitation policies
- Ensure security of organizational properties
