Job Duties

Prepare ingredients for cooking by portioning, chopping, and storing food
wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables, weigh, measure, and mix ingredients
cook food according to recipes and adhere to quality and presentation standards
operate kitchen equipment safely, such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers
monitor and test food for quality and ensure proper cooking temperatures
prepare cold foods and maintain a clean and organized workstation
serve food in proper portions and ensure cleanliness of kitchen areas and equipment
