We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our kitchen team as a full-time or part-time Kitchen Cook in New Braunfels, TX. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about food preparation and eager to contribute to a dynamic back-of-house (BOH) team. The Kitchen Cook plays a critical role in ensuring food is prepared according to the restaurant’s high standards of quality, presentation, and safety. As part of the BOH team, you will be responsible for preparing food items in a sanitary and timely manner, adhering to recipes and presentation specifications, and maintaining a clean and organized workstation.

The Kitchen Cook must be able to manage food preparation to meet quantity demands and deadlines, operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, and help maintain overall kitchen cleanliness and organization. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work full time or part time shifts
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform kitchen duties
  • Willingness to adhere to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a kitchen or food preparation environment preferred
  • Ability to follow directions and recipes accurately
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

Job Duties

  • Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  • Assist with the cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
  • Restock items as needed throughout the shift
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
