Job Requirements

  • Proficiency in English and ability to interpret instructions
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include weekends and holidays
  • Ability to assemble, disassemble, and operate kitchen equipment
  • Ability to understand and implement OSEH and HACCP physical and food safety standards and use resources responsibly and recognize and minimize waste
  • Maintain a static position for extended periods of time
  • Routinely move items weighing up to 50 lbs

Job Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English
  • Ability to interpret instructions
  • Experience with kitchen cleaning or maintenance preferred
  • Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to assemble, disassemble, and operate kitchen equipment
  • Physical stamina to maintain static positions for long periods
  • Capability to routinely lift and move items up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Maintain a clean kitchen by removing trash
  • Sweep and mop floors
  • Clean kitchen equipment including filtering fryers and cleaning hood vents and drains
  • Wash dishes, pots, and pans
  • Assist kitchen staff with general cleaning tasks
  • Follow HACCP standards and health codes for food safety
  • Support waste reduction efforts by using resources responsibly
