Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of professional kitchen experience preferably in banquet or high-volume settings
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to lead and work collaboratively in a kitchen team
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Job Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen (banquet, catering, or high-volume preferred)
  • strong understanding of cooking techniques, timing, and execution under pressure
  • ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision during service
  • experience running a station or assisting in leading a shift
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • banquet or hotel kitchen experience
  • culinary degree or equivalent hands-on experience
  • experience in a leadership or trainer role within a kitchen

Job Duties

  • Execute banquet menus for events ranging from small gatherings to large-scale functions
  • take a lead role in managing stations and event flow during service
  • ensure food is prepared and presented consistently and on schedule
  • assist in coordinating prep, timing, and plating for events
  • support and guide other kitchen team members during service
  • maintain a high standard of cleanliness, organization, and food safety
  • assist with inventory, prep planning, and kitchen readiness
  • communicate effectively with the banquet service team to ensure seamless execution
