Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of professional kitchen experience preferably in banquet or high-volume settings
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- strong communication skills
- ability to lead and work collaboratively in a kitchen team
- flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Job Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a professional kitchen (banquet, catering, or high-volume preferred)
- strong understanding of cooking techniques, timing, and execution under pressure
- ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision during service
- experience running a station or assisting in leading a shift
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- banquet or hotel kitchen experience
- culinary degree or equivalent hands-on experience
- experience in a leadership or trainer role within a kitchen
Job Duties
- Execute banquet menus for events ranging from small gatherings to large-scale functions
- take a lead role in managing stations and event flow during service
- ensure food is prepared and presented consistently and on schedule
- assist in coordinating prep, timing, and plating for events
- support and guide other kitchen team members during service
- maintain a high standard of cleanliness, organization, and food safety
- assist with inventory, prep planning, and kitchen readiness
- communicate effectively with the banquet service team to ensure seamless execution
