Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in baking or related culinary roles preferred
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain it
- Ability to handle physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods
- Capability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adhere to uniform standards
- Strong communication skills
- Willingness to follow strict hygiene and safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- History of working in baking or related roles preferred
- Knowledge of baking techniques, guidelines, and sanitation regulations
- Food safety certification is a prerequisite or must be obtained
- Mastery of basic mathematical skills and numeracy
- Skilled in interpersonal communication including written and verbal skills
- Ability to manage physical duties like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking/standing
- Familiarity with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and uniform standards
Job Duties
- Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
- Ensure your workstation is equipped with all the necessary ingredients and tools for baking
- Put together the components by quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and carrying out other necessary preparations
- Engage with baking devices such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
- Practice safe handling of utensils, like knives, while cooking and preparing meals
- Follow food safety procedures to properly store perishable items
- Follow proper hygiene protocols by sanitizing work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
- Offer outstanding customer service and exhibit a positive attitude when engaging with guests, clients, customers, colleagues, and others
- Follow Aramark's safety protocols, which focus on implementing effective food safety and sanitation practices
- Ensure the security of corporate assets by adhering to specified safety protocols
