Job Requirements

  • Education level and relevant experience in baking or related field
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification
  • Basic math skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Physical stamina to perform required tasks
  • Willingness to comply with PPE and uniform policies

Job Qualifications

  • History of working in baking or related roles preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of baking techniques, guidelines, and sanitation regulations
  • Certification prerequisite for obtaining food safety certification(s)
  • Mastery of basic mathematical skills and numeracy
  • Skilled in interpersonal communication with clarity in written and verbal forms
  • Physical ability to manage duties such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
  • Ability to adhere to uniform standards and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Job Duties

  • Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
  • Ensure workstation is equipped with necessary ingredients and tools for baking
  • Assemble components by quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and other preparations
  • Operate baking devices such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • Practice safe handling of utensils including knives during cooking and preparation
  • Follow food safety procedures to properly store perishable items
  • Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
  • Offer outstanding customer service and exhibit a positive attitude when engaging with guests, clients, customers, and colleagues
  • Adhere to Aramark's safety protocols focusing on food safety and sanitation practices
