Job Requirements
- Education level and relevant experience in baking or related field
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Food safety certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Basic math skills
- Good communication skills
- Physical stamina to perform required tasks
- Willingness to comply with PPE and uniform policies
Job Qualifications
- History of working in baking or related roles preferred
- Thorough knowledge of baking techniques, guidelines, and sanitation regulations
- Certification prerequisite for obtaining food safety certification(s)
- Mastery of basic mathematical skills and numeracy
- Skilled in interpersonal communication with clarity in written and verbal forms
- Physical ability to manage duties such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking or standing
- Ability to adhere to uniform standards and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Job Duties
- Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
- Ensure workstation is equipped with necessary ingredients and tools for baking
- Assemble components by quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and other preparations
- Operate baking devices such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
- Practice safe handling of utensils including knives during cooking and preparation
- Follow food safety procedures to properly store perishable items
- Sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
- Offer outstanding customer service and exhibit a positive attitude when engaging with guests, clients, customers, and colleagues
- Adhere to Aramark's safety protocols focusing on food safety and sanitation practices
- Ensure security of corporate assets by following specified safety protocols
