Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in baking or food preparation preferred
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and production guidelines
  • strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • physical ability to perform lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods
  • willingness to comply with all safety and hygiene protocols
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • readiness to wear personal protective equipment and maintain uniform standards

Job Qualifications

  • Candidates with a history of working in baking or related roles are preferred
  • thorough knowledge of baking techniques, guidelines, and adherence to sanitation regulations
  • prerequisite for obtaining food safety certification(s)
  • mastery of basic mathematical skills and numeracy
  • skilled in interpersonal communication, adept in expressing ideas clearly through both written and verbal means
  • physical capability to manage duties like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking/standing
  • willingness to use personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to uniform standards

Job Duties

  • Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
  • ensure your workstation is equipped with all the necessary ingredients and tools for baking
  • put together the components by quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and carrying out other necessary preparations
  • engage with baking devices such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • practice safe handling of utensils, like knives, while cooking and preparing meals
  • follow food safety procedures to properly store perishable items
  • follow proper hygiene protocols by sanitizing work areas, equipment, and utensils after each use
  • offer outstanding customer service and exhibit a positive attitude when engaging with guests, clients, customers, colleagues, and others
  • follow Aramark's safety protocols, which focus on implementing effective food safety and sanitation practices
  • ensure the security of corporate assets by adhering to specified safety protocols
