Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior baking experience preferred
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and production guidelines
  • certification in food safety
  • excellent communication skills
  • physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing
  • willing to wear PPE and uniform
  • commitment to maintain hygiene and safety protocols at all times
  • positive attitude and teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in baking or related roles preferred
  • thorough knowledge of baking techniques and sanitation regulations
  • food safety certification required
  • mastery of basic mathematical skills and numeracy
  • skilled in interpersonal communication with clear written and verbal expression
  • physical capability to handle duties like lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing for long periods
  • ability to comply with PPE use and uniform standards

Job Duties

  • Utilize standardized recipes and production guidelines to bake a variety of goods
  • ensure workstation is equipped with necessary ingredients and tools
  • prepare components by quantifying, weighing, blending, chopping, and other preparations
  • operate baking devices such as ovens, cookers, and mixers
  • practice safe handling of utensils including knives during cooking and preparation
