Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- must be 18 years or older
- current SERV Safe certification required
- prior experience in food preparation or kitchen work is a plus
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
- ability to follow standard recipes and procedures
- good communication skills
- willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- commitment to sanitary food handling practices
- able to wear uniform and personal protective equipment
- able to work in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications

- capable of using knives, slicers, and other food preparation equipment

Job Duties
- Smile and greet customers
- provide a fast and friendly customer experience every visit
- complete prep work as assigned and prepare menu items according to Cubby's recipes
- follow approved cooking procedures and present quality food to company standards
- practice sanitary and safe food handling procedures
- clean and sanitize the work area before, during, and after the scheduled shift
- follow company uniform and dress code requirements including non-slip shoes and hair restraint
- ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- verify time and temperature logs for proper cooking and holding temperatures
- check and document refrigeration equipment temperatures
- maintain safety and sanitation standards
- interact respectfully with customers and employees
- lead by example in hygiene practices
- ensure availability and quality of hot bar and prepared foods
- communicate effectively with team about procedures, promotions, and new products
- earn trust through honest communication and good follow-through
