Job Duties
- assist in forecasting daily meal needs and may request products accordingly from the production kitchen
- assist with preparing and serving meals for students, staff and special functions
- effectively operate the point of sale system and able to handle money and prepare bank deposits effectively
- ensure that each reimbursable meal sold meets USDA requirements
- perform a variety of kitchen cleaning duties
- assist with setting up serving line and serves meals according to meal patterns
- project a positive and professional image of themselves, their school and the child nutrition department to all customers, staff and parents
