Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous kitchen experience preferred
- Wisconsin Food Handling Certification (Safe SERV)
- CPR and first aid certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Availability to work part-time

Job Duties
- Assist cook/kitchen lead in the preparation, cooking, and serving of healthy meals and snacks to youth
- Assist with unloading and storing of food deliveries, ensuring inventory is organized and accessible
- Perform routine dishwashing and general kitchen duties, including sanitizing surfaces and equipment as needed
- Serve as a substitute cook, preparing and serving meals in the absence of kitchen lead/cook
- Ensure compliance with Child and Adult Care Food Program (USDA-CACFP) regulations
- Adhere to The Salvation Army Safe from Harm guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen
